Who I am

Would you believe that my creative journey started on a dairy farm in Nebraska? Whether it was arranging hay bales into imagined interior designs or performing for the cattle at mealtime, I was always pushing the boundaries of what my environment had to offer. One of my first creative jobs was painting murals at veterinary clinics and transforming kids’ rooms into Looney Tunes dreamscapes. It was an unlikely start, but it sparked a lifelong passion for art and design.

In Chicago, I found myself immersed in the non-profit theater world, where I traded in my brush for a computer mouse and dove into learning graphic design programs. Tasked with handling marketing, design, and communications for two non-profit theater companies I quickly realized that standing out in the saturated storefront theater market required more than just eye-catching designs—it demanded thoughtful strategy. I created postcards, posters, and email campaigns that captured attention without blinking visual “neon signs”, helping to build our brand across the city. All the while, I was still writing and acting, blending my love for performance with my growing expertise in marketing and design.

Los Angeles was the next chapter, where I initially came to pursue my performing career. However, I soon found myself drawn deeper into the world of marketing and design. At Sotheby’s International Realty, I began supporting multiple offices, from Brentwood to Los Feliz and Pasadena, working with over 150 agents. This experience laid the groundwork for my current role as Team Marketing Director at CBRE, where I’ve taken on the challenge of supporting a rock-star broker team dominating the South Bay industrial market. Transitioning from luxury homes to industrial real estate was no small feat, but I embraced the opportunity to make data sparkle & warehouse details shine. By providing bespoke marketing strategies and a dedicated design approach, we’ve been able to expand our business portfolio and secure our place as market leaders.
